We are nothing if not adaptive.
We design all of our products to be composted and designed to be a positive gain to the environment, but this does rely on a waste management system that composts our products to get the best environmental outcomes and this is where the system falls down.
Each country and even each region within that country does things differently, so we have now started designing more of our products to be recycled as well as composted ( composted is always best as recycling is just reusing a problem until it becomes a problem further down the road), so all of our bags are now designed using FSC™ sustainable wood sources and the best bit is , all of our clear windows are made from Natureflex™ which also comes from wood, it looks like PET ( which comes from petrol) but is 100% wood based and food safe.
So you can now buy all of our bags and feel confident that no matter how good or bad your waste collection companies are, it will always be good for the planet, that doesn't mean we don't hope they are composted but if these facilities don't exist in your region, then they can be recycled to avoid them being sent to landfill.
It's a win win.
